Myddfai Community Council Minutes for September 2016

A meeting of Myddfai Community Council was held on 5th September 2016 Myddfai Hall.

 

Present: Cllr’s John Morgan, Gareth Hughes, John Griffith, Geriant Powell, Geriant Davies,

Apologies Cllr Hywel Lewis, Carol Dyer, CC Andrew James

Minutes of the last meeting read, found to be true and signed.

 

Matters Arising:

CCC Mrs Mullen letter received by Cllr Morgan it stated that ditches leading to the Vicarage will be cleared when the Machanical Ditcher is in area but Community Gang will do some manually.  Potholes have been undertaken. Site visit to Mr William’s. Owner of the gate at Bailey Rhyn has been restrained. Mr Quick to be contacted for a Site visit as the Ditches need  attention now, Potholes are still around and gate still close to road? Cllr Powells to be contacted by CCC

 

Queens 90th Birthday coins to be made available to purchase for £2 people on the list to be contacted.

Letter from Mrs Munro concerning motor bikes through village, Police has been contacted and have visited the village without seeing any bikes but will continue. Letter sent to Mrs Munro

Planning:

Planning Questionnaire to be completed by Clerk

CCC Cottages at Myrtle Hill E/34084 demolish cottages and rebuild as Application came during summer break Clerk visited Cllrs all those consulted there were no objections

 

Finances:

Completion of Audit & payment of £186.75 +VAT to be paid by Grant Thornton

Both items below paid in July

Paul Eagan Invoice paid £140.00

Zurich Insurance paid £339.11

NatWest Bank Letter signed by all 4 signatories as concerns with bank statements of which Clerk has not received

Rhian Hughes – Tug of War   this with-held as Miss Hughes is ill
