A meeting of Myddfai Community Council was held on 13^th May 2013 in Myddfai Hall

Present: Cllr’s Hywel Lewis, John Morgan, John Griffith, Garient Powell, Garient Davies, Gareth Hughes and CC Andrew James

Apologies: Cllr Carol Dyer

Minutes from April 8^th 2013 were read, found to be true, signed.

PCSO Nia Humphries addressed the meeting – there have been no problems in Myddfai. The only problem that could affect the Community was cold callers are on the increase, stickers and posters were left. Also OWL forms were left to be collected at a later date.

Nia was thanked and left and the meeting continued…

Matters Arising:

Welsh Water – the Hydrant in village has been repaired

Eisteddfod Carmarthenshire – letter received explaining that in 2014 Carmarthenshire are hosting the Eisteddfod and fundraising in Llangadog, Myddfai, Llanddeusant and Bethlehem will take place over the forthcoming months but each Community will be asked for a donation. Cllrs decided to defer to next meeting.

Planning:

CCC – E/28133 Green Grove Agri Dwelling       No Objection

RW2/54/CJF proposal to divert reg. Public Footpath 54/13 Trallwm to Llwynywormwood Park                                     No Objection

BBNP –  Old Smithy 12/08567/out construction of single dwelling all matters reserved                                               No Objection

Finances:

Clerk presented 2012/13 Audit. Cllrs agree to Mr Llewellyn to continue with Audit.

Clerks expenses due £350 1^st payment for year 2013 paid

CCC Election Invoice to be paid after explanation from Electoral Office was presented to Cllrs £309.37.

A.O.B:

Cllr Griffith reported a gate at Bailey Rhyn Farm protruding in to the road. Gate by other dwelling Bailey Rhyn, Nelson Cottage letter to CC.

A Brown Sign( information Road sign) directing to Myddfai Hall is being requested. Cllrs have no objection with Mrs Griffith continuing with application
