Meeting Held on 9th May 2022

A meeting of Myddfai Community Council was held on 9th May 2022 in Tỹ Talcen.

Clerk explained that some items from April’s meeting were being carried over to June meeting due to extended AGM

Matters Arising:

          BT Kiosk- E-mail from Angela Prichard @ BT if the Council would like to paint the kiosk or arrange it to be done BT would provide Paint as for missing glass a BT engineer would attend and replace glass. Clerk to contact BT about the paint.

CCC Halfway sign posts Clerk has had no reply Cllr Griffith will go to Llandovery Yard and explain what is needed.

The sign in Tŷ Talcan Carpark. The issue of cars parking overnight. The Hall Committee sent a letter of explanation and Legal right for sign.

Planning:

CCC: Rock Farm P6/14717/88 application to modify section 106 Planning Obligation. No objection but Council requested proviso ‘local farmer or persons are considered first.

          E-mail from Fiona Walker and Susan Pick requesting a donation for a Jubilee Event in the village. A cheque signed but was to be explained that the event to be open to all the Community not just the village residents, the council would like proof of adverts Notice board and online.

Llandovery YFC Beacon for Jubilee to be asked if anything is needed and a Donation to be sent Cheque signed

Retiring Cllrs John Morgan and Garaint Powell has left council with limited signatories for signing Cllrs Hywel Morgan, Hywel Lewis and Gareth Hughes are to be on the Mandate and Mr Morgan and Powell removed.

As Council is requiring to Co-opt councillors asked if they knew of any? Applicants. An advert to be placed on Notice Board. Applications to be in by 6^th June.
