RE: TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE: C2165 MYDDFAI, LLANDOVERY
A request has been received for the temporary road closure of the C2165 Myddfai, Llandovery, from
a point 400 metres south-east of its junction with Heol Cae-Du, for a distance of 50 metres in a
southerly direction.
The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst Woodland Trust cut down trees, which shall
take place on Monday 20th March 2023 for a period of 4 days.

The alternative route for north-west bound traffic will be to proceed in a south-easterly direction
along the C2165 to its junction with the C2153. At the junction, turn left and continue in a northerly
direction along the C2153 to its junction with the C2166. At the junction, turn left and continue in a
north-westerly direction along the C2166 to its junction with the A40. At the junction, turn left and
continue along the A40 in a westerly, then south-westerly, direction to its junction with the C2149. At
the junction, turn left and continue along the C2149 in a south-westerly, then southerly, direction to
its junction with the U4250. At the junction, turn left and continue in a south-easterly direction along
the U4250 to its junction with the C2165 to return to a point north-west of the closure. Vice versa for
north-east bound traffic.
I enclose a plan (N.T.S.) illustrating the length of road to be closed and alternative route and would be
grateful to receive any views you may have on the matter.
