Myddfai Community Council Minutes for March 2017

A meeting of Myddfai Community Council was held on 6th March 2017 in Myddfai Hall.

 

Present: Cllr’s John Morgan, Gareth Hughes, John Griffith, Geriant Powell, Hywel Lewis, Carol Dyer & CC Andrew James

Minutes of the last meeting read, found to be true and signed.

 

Before the meeting Helen Fender PCSO addressed the meeting. She had news about the junction of Myddfai Road and the A40. There is to be a consultation period and the Parking restrictions will be put in to place. Helen also wants to know of any problems with motor bikes in Myddfai. Helen was thanked and the meeting continued.

Matters Arising:

As nothing has been heard from Mrs Mullen at CCC or the Highways concerning Usk Reservoir, CC Andrew James will be in contact with Mrs Mullen again as the work needing to be done is still needed

OVW – Renumeration, Training dates, Travelers Consultation, Rename Welsh Government, Exchange Programme.

Cllr John Griffiths asked if the Council would pay towards the servicing of the Defibulator and he will have the cost at next meeting. Cllrs agreed as it is stored within the village and is accessible to community.
